Pretty much everyone is in business to Create Wealth, some people are in business without any particular aim other than to do something, however that’s hardly having a business. Businesses get established so as to generate Profit and Create Wealth, along this most people work to a Wealth System which I expect you do too. The things that most people often forget while they work hard on their business are the reasons they established the business initially, the criteria they set out to achieve through taking the freedom to work in the way they envisioned to be most conducive to success. So what has brought you to the position you are in now? What reasons did you have and what was your motivation for choosing the business route you have pursued? What is your Wealth System and how well is that Wealth System working for you?
As you keep working on creating an established business recall that the real joy of owning your own business comes largely from the achievements you get from it and also the things you do whilst you work upon your business. By ‘working on’ the focus is at developing and leading your business to where you wish it to head, if you are ‘working in’ your business then you are likely spending too much time on admin and other tasks that others could perform that would free your time to do what you really need to. So whilst you think as to whether you are mainly ‘working in’ or ‘working on’ your business, as well as how effectively your Wealth System is operating plus your motivations for the creation of the business initially, evaluate yourself in regard to how effectively you are fulfilling your potential. What are the specific points and place you could alter and hone such that doing so could yield you a far better performance? Once the list of things you could improve has been formulated you have the ability to start doing something about them, your first action should be to find; appropriate books for the information you need, resources online, workshops, courses, and a good Business Coach. Once you finish formulating your list of available options evaluate each with respect to the impact and effect on you and your business, the speed it can yield its effect, plus the amount of time required to be assigned to it plus how enjoyable it would be. The latter part may seem strange though from all my experience in Sydney Business Coaching and also the UK, plus various other roles I have had, I have always found that people get their best results when they are enjoying themselves. Because of this I recommend for people to do what they can where they can to enjoy their work, plus it is the reason for ensuring as best as possible that as a Business Coach the sessions my clients have are enjoyable wherever possible, yes things do become serious at certain times, although the great growth and movement is achievable when you enjoy yourself.
